Support for the full life of your boiler

Commissioning, warranty, preventive maintenance, statutory inspections, water treatment and parts — handled locally, to industry standards.

Installation & commissioning

Supervised erection, pipework checks, hydrostatic test witness, burner tuning and controls calibration — then documented performance trials before handover. Your operators join the commissioning so they know the machine from day one.

Warranty

ZOZEN boilers carry a standard warranty of 12 months from commissioning (or 18 months from delivery, whichever comes first), covering defects in materials and workmanship. Pressure-part weld integrity is warranted separately and longer, per contract. Consumables and damage from improper water treatment or operation are excluded — final terms are stated in your contract.

Preventive maintenance

Scheduled check-ups — quarterly or yearly, depending on your boiler's requirements — covering inspection, cleaning, calibration and tuning by our engineers, with a written condition report and recommendations after every visit.

Statutory inspection support

Philippine regulations (DOLE OSH Standards, Rule 1160) require boilers to pass an annual inspection by an accredited mechanical engineer. We prepare the boiler — internal cleaning, opening manholes, safety-valve testing — and assist with the documentation for your permit to operate.

Water treatment guidance

Poor feedwater destroys more boilers than any other cause. We specify the treatment program (softening, dosing, blowdown regime) at commissioning, train your team on daily water tests, and audit results during every PM visit.

Spare parts

Genuine parts — grates, burners, gauge glasses, valves, gaskets, refractory, controls — stocked and supplied locally, with critical-spares kits recommended per model so a worn part never becomes a plant stop.

Emergency response

Breakdown assistance by phone/Viber first — most trips and alarms are resolved with guided diagnostics — with an engineer dispatched to site when hands-on repair is needed.

Operator training

Boiler-operator and maintenance training at commissioning and on request: safe start-up and shutdown, water-level and low-water procedures, blowdown practice, log-keeping and alarm response.

A maintenance program that fits your boiler

No two boilers run the same duty, so we don't sell a one-size-fits-all calendar. Three layers keep your boiler safe, efficient and certified:

LayerWhoWhat it covers
Routine careYour operatorsDay-to-day housekeeping — water levels, pressure readings, blowdown and log-keeping. We train your team at commissioning so this becomes second nature.
Scheduled check-upsOur engineersPreventive maintenance visits — quarterly or yearly, depending on the requirements of your specific boiler, its fuel and how hard it runs. The right rhythm is set at commissioning and adjusted with experience.
Annual inspectionStatutory examiner + usThe yearly inspection required by Philippine regulations for the permit to operate. We prepare the boiler and the documentation so it passes the first time.

The exact scope and frequency for your unit are set in the commissioning report and maintenance contract.

Service & warranty FAQs

What does the standard warranty cover?

One year of replacement or repair for manufacturer defects — defects in materials and workmanship — running 12 months from commissioning (or 18 months from delivery, whichever comes first), with longer coverage on pressure-part welding per contract. It excludes consumables (gaskets, gauge glasses, refractory wear), and damage from untreated feedwater, improper fuel, or operation outside the manual. Your contract states the exact terms.

How long from order to a running boiler?

Manufacturing lead time is about 60 days from order confirmation. Shipping, site installation and commissioning follow, and a typical project is producing steam within 5–6 months of ordering. Packaged and skid-mounted units sit at the fast end of that range; large field-erected water-tube plants at the slower end.

How quickly does a new boiler pay for itself?

Heating with natural gas, LPG, biomass or coal costs significantly less per tonne of steam than diesel firing. For plants replacing or displacing a diesel-fired boiler, the fuel savings typically pay back the investment in 6 months to 1 year — after which the lower operating cost is permanent. We'll calculate the payback for your actual fuel prices and load as part of your quotation.

What ongoing customer service do you provide?

Three things, all handled locally: annual (and scheduled preventive) maintenance programs; repair of boiler parts and accessories with genuine spares; and technical assistance in troubleshooting — by phone or Viber first for fast diagnosis, with an engineer dispatched when hands-on work is needed.

Is annual boiler inspection really mandatory in the Philippines?

Yes. Under the DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Standards (Rule 1160 — Boilers), steam boilers must be inspected before first use and at least annually thereafter by an authorized inspector, and the permit to operate renewed. We prepare the boiler and paperwork so the inspection passes the first time.

How often should the boiler be serviced?

It depends on the specific boiler, its fuel and how hard it runs. We set the preventive-maintenance rhythm at commissioning — typically quarterly or yearly check-ups by our engineers — alongside the annual statutory inspection required by Philippine regulations. Your operators handle simple day-to-day care in between, and we train them for it.

Why is water treatment such a big deal?

Scale as thin as 1 mm can cut heat transfer and raise fuel consumption several percent — and untreated water causes corrosion, priming, and in the worst case tube failure. Warranty claims traceable to water-side neglect are excluded across the industry, so a working treatment program protects both the boiler and your coverage.

Do you support boilers you didn't supply?

Yes — our engineers service most chain-grate, fire-tube and thermal-oil equipment. An initial condition survey establishes a baseline, then we quote parts and a maintenance program.

What's the typical lead time for spare parts?

Common wear parts are stocked locally. Model-specific pressure parts are ordered from the factory with priority handling — we'll advise a critical-spares list at commissioning so long-lead items are already on your shelf.
